Green Point Granary has been built to make the most of the breathtaking views surrounding it. With bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and an expansive open plan living area on the first floor with west facing balcony this is a property to attract anyone seeking the English countryside beauty.
A long private drive leads through the 85 acres of countryside around are for the exclusive use of those staying at the Manor Farm, Bawdsey. Deer graze, rabbits scamper across the hay meadows and badgers forage around their setts. A footpath leads down to the River Fleet where there are picnic tables making this a wonderful holiday property for adults and children alike. There is loads of space for biking, tree climbing and den building.
Close to the house is a heated outdoor swimming pool with changing rooms and showers. There is also a hard tennis court.
Just a mile down the road is Bawdsey Quay where the Deben Estuary meets the sea. Here there is a sandy beach, great for young children. There is a sailing school here and a very good cafe/restaurant. A foot ferry takes you across the estuary mouth to the small fishing hamlet of Felixstowe Ferry where there are two good pubs.
Bawdsey is close to Alderton and just a short drive from Sutton Hoo and the beautiful historic riverside market town of Woodbridge.
