An extremely exciting granary conversion using many original building materials including the old granary chute doors in the kitchen, its lovely old oak beams, all of which combine harmoniously with its state of the art fittings: Mexican tiles, preparation and cooking facilities for even the most demanding cook. Architecturally designed to provide maximum light, Rookery Farm Granary is comfortable, extremely spacious and wonderfully warm – under floor heating throughout and a lovely wood burning stove.
Its elevated position ensures lovely views over the surrounding countryside towards Framlingham in the west and Woodbridge and the coast in the east. A short stroll from the village of Hacheston where you will find a delightful collection of traditional Suffolk cottages, a village shop and antique shop selling fine antique pine furniture, much of the property's pine furniture originates from there.
Parham Air Museum, a fascinating collection of wartime planes and memorabilia, is just a couple of miles from the village as is Wickham Market. Framlingham, an absolute must, with its fine 12th century castle, restaurants and pubs, shops and market is around 10 minutes drive - give yourself plenty of time to really explore this delightful town. Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo and the coast can all be reached in under 20 minutes.
