The Mount is a spacious recently renovated Farmhouse, set in it’s own large private garden, at the foot of the Howgill Fells. It is ideally situated to either tour the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, or just relax in and around the town of Sedbergh.
The Mount can accommodate up to 8 people + cot in 4 bedrooms – two bedrooms have double beds and two bedrooms can have a super king size bed or twin beds. Upstairs there is a separate bathroom and toilet.
On the ground floor there is a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker and a separate dining room with a large pine table to accommodate everyone. There is a separate living room with television and video as well as a lounge, both with open fires. Adjoining the kitchen there is an utility/drying room with washing machine dryer and freezer. There is also a shower room with toilet on the ground floor.
If you come in the springtime you can see the lambs being born and there is sometimes a pet lamb to feed. Most times of the year there are calves to feed and you can watch the cows being milked.
