Self catering holiday cottages in Cornwall

Separated from the rest of England by the River Tamar Cornwall is practically
an island; wild and exciting. Its coastline: rugged cliffs, crashing
waves and fine sandy beaches. Inland there is much to see so take your
time and book yourself in for at least a week’s self catering.
Bodmin Moor and the Tamar valley, the china clay pits near St Austell,
The Eden Project, The Tate at St Ives are but a few of the delights
on offer. Explore Cornwall's past with a visit to some of its many castles,
country houses and National Trust properties.
West Cornwall has unspoilt golden beaches, spectacular cliffs, vast
blue skies, a big blue ocean, picturesque fishing villages, ancient
churches, lively seaside resorts, and peaceful coastal and moorland
walks.
Newquay, once a fishing village called Towan Blystra, was little known for
anything other than its pilchard catch. Today Newquay is a popular holiday
destination with over seven miles of soft, golden sand and famous for its
nightlife, surfing, and extensive range of water sports. With 11 beaches,
there is something for everyone but it is not difficult to find a quiet spot:
walk along one of the superb beaches (the sand dunes at Hollywell Bay), explore
the cliff tops, or visit some of the many attractions in the town or close
by.
